Board of Directors


AG Home is managed by a Management Committee drawn from Covenant Presbyterian Church (CPC) and Presbyterian Community Services (PCS). The Committee is responsible for policy-making, fund-raising and supervisory aspects of running the home.
Patricia Lum-Vijayendran
Acting Chairperson
 

Patricia Lum-Vijayendran's passion is for teen girls, women and marriages.

 

Patricia is Montessori-trained. She previously worked as an educator for children aged 2 to 12 yrs old for 18 years. She served in Sunday School for many years. In recent years, she has been burdened for teen girls in the area of walking in purity. To that end, she befriends troubled teen girls and journeys with them. She also facilitates purity workshops and youth groups. Together with her husband, she presently co-facilitates Marriage Builders Alliance, an informal coalition of Christian marriage-building ministries.

Mr Lim Ker Sheon
Honorary Secretary
 

Mr Lim Ker Sheon is a lawyer and a Director of Characterist LLC. He heads up the commercial, construction litigation department and co-heads the corporate law department.

 

Ker Sheon also teaches law on a part-time basis with the PSB Academy (undergraduate engineering courses) and is a member of the Small Law Firms Committee of the Singapore Law Society. Ker Sheon currently serves as Director of BLC Community Services and also holds the position of Honorary Secretary in the Management Committee of AG Home. Happily married and a father to 4 lovely sons, Mr Lim is actively involved in various charities and NGOs.

Mr Laurence Wee
Consultant
 

Mr Laurence Wee is a veteran social service practitioner. Currently, Mr Wee serves on several voluntary welfare agencies, including the Presbyterian Community Services as Advisor, and President of the Gerontological Society of Singapore.

 

The Society works closely in collaboration with various organisations and individuals in related fields of ageing to promote active ageing through conferences and seminars, research and training, working towards the general wellbeing of older persons in the community.

Deacon Shaun Ho
Member
 

Mr Shaun Ho holds a Bachelor in Mass Communications from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). He is currently the Sales and Operations Manager at Euro Pac Logistics Pte Ltd. Besides being the Ministry Head of the Youth and Young Adult Ministry of Covenant Presbyterian Church, he is also a serving Deacon on the Elders and Deacons Court of the church.

 

Shaun is a member of the Management Committee of AG Home and has been an active volunteer with the Home since 2008.

Elder Tan Pong Meng
Vice-Chairman
 

Elder Tan Pong Meng graduated in Social Work from the University of Singapore in 1973. Since then, he worked as an officer in probation, volunteer programmes, drug rehabilitation, prison welfare, senior citizens and family protection. He obtained a Graduate Diploma in Counselling Practice at the Counselling and Care Centre and joined Care Corner Counselling Centre in 2005 and worked there till retirement.

Elder Tony Ng
Honorary Treasurer
 

Tony Ng is currently Marine Superintendant with ST Marine in his professional career. Concurrently, he holds numerous portfolios in charitable organisations and churches. Besides holding the position of Chairman at Careworks, he is an Elder of Covenant Presbyterian Church and Honorary Treasurer of the Management Committee of AG Home. Married to Annie with 3 children, Mr Ng has been an active volunteer with AG Home since its inception in 1998.

Rev. David Lim
Member
 

Since 1 October 2014, David Lim has assumed leadership of the Presbyterian Community Services as the Executive Director. His involvement with the Presbyterian Community Services started in 2002 when he was invited to be part of the Resource Panel. Subsequently, he was elected into the Executive Board from 2004 to 2011.

 

Currently, David is a member of the Providence Care Centre Board of Management. He also sits on the School Management Committee of Grace Orchard School and Chaplaincy Committee of St Luke's Hospital.

Mrs Lai Mui Fong
Member
 

Ms Lai Mui Fong is currently Head of the Family Support Ministry at Covenant Presbyterian Church, responsible for developing the Family Life stage transition ministry that equips and mentors leaders in spiritual formation and provides counsel for marriage and parenting. She is also a member of the Management Committee of AG Home.

 

A specialist in computer science, Mui Fong has previously worked in Mass Rapid Transport Corporation as Program Analyst, responsible for the computerized system of the North-South lines and in American President Lines as Business Analyst, computerizing the port operations at Keelung, Kaoshiung & Taichung ports in Taiwan. She was Lecturer in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, teaching Mathematics in 1982 and Business Information Technology from 1990-1994.
